NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR/SYSTEMS ENGINEER BILINGUAL JAPANESE/ENGLISH $50-$65K
Job Description:
Logistics firm seeking a Systems Engineer/Network Administration with Windows Server Techonology background. Responisble for resolving hardware/software and security issues, as well as design and develop IT infrastructure. Support systems, applications, users and interact with vendors. Assist with architectural design and implementation of new technologies and upgrades in Microsoft based environment. Experience in Active Directory, SAN/NAS, Server hardware, Citrix, Server Monitoring Tools and Procedures, Cisco Network, VPN and Portal, and Backups.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain and support Windows 2003/2008 servers, including IIS.
- Administer and support MS Windows Directory Services Infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Shared Folders
- Manage all major Operating System Installations, upgrades and patching cycle.
- Administer and Support Warehouse Systems and Wireless Symbol Guns
- Work with SAN technologies
- Proactive lead and participate as a team member for group projects
- Provide preventive maintenance and on call support of production services on a 24x7 basis
- Troubleshooting and documentation
Required Experience:
- Windows Server Operation System
- Active Directory
- Installation and maintenance of MS-SQL
- Citrix and Windows Terminals
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN technologies TCP/IP, WINS, DNS, DHCP
- Programming knowledge of .NET/Visual Studio, JavaScript
